The Community of Information Systems Executives (CISE) was created in 2004 as a peer group for Chief Information Officers based in the Bay Area.

The CISE group provides its members with meaningful networking opportunities, up-to-date perspectives on emerging technologies, and peers who can be relied on for support, information, personal and professional growth.

The CIO Development Program (CDP), initially formed in 2006, is an extension of CISE.

The CDP provides help to "up and coming CIOs", enabling them to collaborate and network with each other. The CISE group supports the CDP program through mentoring and participation to develop IT leaders and give back to the community. The goal is to help build the next generation of exceptional IT leaders.

The Leadership Development Program (LDP), an extension of CISE and CDP, was created in 2019 as a peer group for IT Managers, Senior Managers, Directors and Program Managers working/living in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. The LDP group provides its members with meaningful in-person networking opportunities, up-to-date perspectives on emerging technologies, and peers who can be relied on for support, information, personal and professional growth.
