Monthly meetings are the centerpiece of CISE and CDP membership
Monthly meetings
All three groups meet separately on a monthly basis, with a few joint meeting each year that bring two or more of the groups together. During the respective monthly meeting, members collaborate with their peers and expert guests to gain a deeper and richer understanding of key IT topics. Dinners immediately follow the meetings at a local restaurant, where dialogue about the meeting topic can continue, and members/prospects can forge deeper relationships.
Annual CIO Marathon
Additionally, we host an annual CIO Marathon near the end of the calendar year, to raise money for the CISE education fund. The event enables companies to pay a fee to pitch their product or service offering to the CISE, CDP and LDP members for a brief specified period. The companies benefit by having a chance to present to many qualified IT decision makers at one time, and receive feedback about the quality of their pitch. The members benefit by hearing about new and innovative products, and observing how some presentations connect with the crowd and why certain others do not.
Annual Holiday Event
The groups host an annual holiday event near the end of the calendar year, which includes all members and a guest of each member. The purpose of the event is to enable the group’s members to socialize with each other in an enjoyable setting, which enables members to form stronger relationships.
